    Chateau Lacombe Noaillac
    Médoc Cru Bourgeois 1996

lacombe Noaillac Chateau Lacombe Noaillac has undergone a resurgence since the mid 90's. The 1994 wine lacked dignity & appeal, however the awesome 1996 restored our faith & became the top selling wine for The Fine Claret Seller Ltd last year. Made up of 58% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit-Verdot.

WINE
The Lacombe Noaillac 1997 is a superb, stylish Médoc wine, lots of up-front cassis fruit, with a remarkably rich smoky bouquet of a much more expensive claret. A little lighter than the 1996, more mellow and less feisty. The wine is unusual as it is ready to drink within 2 years of the vintage (designed to be drunk early). This has a great 'Pauillac' bouquet with the easiness of new world wine.

The Lacombe Noaillac 1997 is ready now and will keep for another 4-5 years. Excellent if you have nowhere to age your wines.

Price : £106 (£8.83 per bottle) including VAT, duty insurance & delivery to a UK address (subject to availability)
